The NOEA Awards(National Outdoor Events Association) were special to us, to be nominated at a National level for a first year festival was pretty amazing. We couldn’t not attend the ceremony in Bath.
The award ceremony location was something else – The Roman Baths. The invitation said black tie, we were dressed in our finest, the prosecco was flowing, nibbles were being served, the floor was uneven making it hard for one of us to walk in their heels but that was ok. We were ready to mingle with some of the best event organisers in the UK.
Overall there were 18 awards and our categories were at the very end. It was a long and slightly nervous wait. Fingers and toes were crossed as we waited for the announcement. Not sure any of us heard our name but we saw it flash up on the screen – Scottish Industry – Newcomer Award 2019!! We couldn’t ask for more than that. A whirlwind of photos and handshakes and we sat back down, a little stunned with our second award of the season
The mantelpiece is coping ok so far, 2 awards. There is still room for the clock and the family photos. We have no intention of stopping, we want to make next year even better. We want you all to have an amazing time, that is our sole purpose! Tickets will be on sale VERY SHORTLY
