The Patryns are a 4-piece indie rock band from Falkirk in Central Scotland, formed in early 2016. Drawing influences from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Slaves, and Baby Strange, the band present a darker indie sound with a driving rhythm at its core.
Within Glasgow’s music scene the band have enjoyed moderate success, appearing as part of the lineup for a range of high profile gigs. In February 2018, they headlined a showcase night at King Tuts to a wild capacity crowd. In the summer of 2018, The Patryns were headliners for King Tuts’ own Summer Nights festival, and made their debut appearance at Glasgow’s Tenement Trail festival.
The Patryns released their latest single, Innuendo, in September 2018. Produced by Johnny Madden of Baby Strange & Chris Marshall at 7 West Studios, the track presents 3 minutes of dynamic, pumping rhythm and filthy guitar lines.
